We do not claim to cure, diagnose or prescribe. These treatments are wonderful for encouraging deep relaxation, a release of tension, establishing better sleep patterns, improved mood and increased well-being. It is preferable to seek a course of treatment and thereafter to have periodic treatments in order to help maintain your well-being. These therapies should not be used as an alternative to seeing your GP or taking medical advice. They are "complementary" therapies and can be used alongside other medical treatments.
Caroline has been in full-time practice as a Natural Health Therapist since 1995. Her main portfolio of clients have physical or learning difficulties or are elderly and may have dementia or mental health issues. Any number of the therapies she offers can be received by anyone at any age, from newborn babies to those receiving end of life care, or someone just seeking relaxation from a hectic lifestyle. However, occasionally it may not be suitable to provide a treatment, for example to anyone with ongoing deep vein thrombosis or any form of blood clot until their medication to control the clotting is properly balanced. Also, some therapies suit certain people better than others, so it's always worth trying your chosen therapy to see if it suits you or not as the benefits could outweigh any premisconceptions.
Complementary therapies are based on working with the whole person and not just presenting symptoms. The aim is to help balance an individual and not simply to treat superficial symptoms but to treat the whole person as mind, body and spirit are interrelated.
